This Type Sports and Diet for Diabetics

A healthy diet and proper physical activity not only helps people with diabetes, but also the right way to prevent type 2 diabetes.

Diabetologist of North Delhi Diabetes Center Dr Rajeev Chawla said, exercise is an important part of diabetes management, as important as medication.

"Patients have to exercise at least 30 minutes per day, and made at least 6 days per week," he said quoted by the Times of India website.

Exercises that can be done is aerobics, swimming, cycling, or jogging. It can also do walk for 30 minutes.

Diabetic patients with insulin had hypoglycaemia after strenuous exercise or unusual exercise. To ensure that diabetes is not affected by hypoglycemia during exercise, their use should be snacking insulin before exercise. Also, be sure to consult with a physician before exercising.

People with diabetes, said Rajeev, should avoid fast food, candy, or chocolate. They should also avoid consuming juices and liquids containing sugar.

Diabetics can eat complex carbohydrates such as cereals, fruits, and vegetables. Myth if someone says diabetics can not eat foods such as rice. Most importantly, diabetics must plan 5-6 times to eat small meals a day.
